Blue Strada 3-day Blue Ridge Parkway and
Diamondback Motorcycle Tour
 (Maximum 6 bikes)

Ride the legendary Blue Ridge Parkway, the Diamondback Motorcycle Route and other endlessly twisting roads in the Blue Ridge Mountains on a Suzuki or BMW Adventure Touring Bike!

Day 1: Leaving Charlotte you head toward the WNC mountains. You find that your spirits climb with the the altitude. The ride takes you to Little Switzerland via the fantastic Diamondback, Route US 226 A. Your Suzuki or BMW Adventure Touring bike gives you a comfortably thrilling ride as you hug the corners and sweep through the twisting turns.

At the top of the Diamondback Route, enjoy a gourmet lunch at the Switzerland Inn’s Chalet Restaurant, where you dine overlooking a panoramic view of a Blue Ridge mountain valley. Dinner and a comfortable night’s rest are waiting at day’s end at the Switzerland Inn, a full service hotel with a variety of accommodation styles and conveniences. On-sight shopping, two patio bars, a swimming pool and hot tubs round out the amenities.  The Switzerland Inn is the closest accommodation to Mount Mitchell.

Day 2: Start your day with a full breakfast (light fare also available) at the Switzerland Inn’s Chalet Restaurant before heading out the front drive onto the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. Your route to Mt Pisgah features one beautiful waterfall after another and to the town of Hot Springs where you stop for lunch. After lunch, you drive to Green Mountain in TN with plenty of stops for photos and sightseeing.

As the afternoon meets evening, you wind back via picturesque Roan Mountain, returning to Switzerland Inn around 5pm, with time to rest or shop before dinner at the Chalet Restaurant.

Day 3: Get set for even more twisty miles on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Once again you leave the front drive at Switzerland Inn (after breakfast if you choose) and begin your exploration. Lunch at the Station’s Inn Motorcycle Resort before heading back down the mountain route towards Charlotte and your return trip home.

Reservations should be made as far in advance as possible to be assured of both your choice of motorcycle and room availability at the Swiss Inn.

• Your motorcycle rental and insurance are included in the package.
• Detailed route maps are provided for each tour guest. Recommended stops for meals and local flavor are also provided.
• Riding guests must bring proper motorcycle riding gear (see www.bluestradatours.com  “Rules of the Road” section)
• Riding guests must have a valid driver’s license with a motorcycle endorsement
• Groups of two or more bikes can include a support vehicle for luggage transport and logistics at an additional charge.
• An experienced and knowledgeable tour guide is available at an additional cost.
